Meet Shenikka Jackson

Shenikka Jackson, Clinician
Welcome — I’m Shenikka Jackson, a counselor at Legacy Marriage Resources serving individuals, couples, and families across Georgia. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and am in the process of applying for licensure as an Associate Professional Counselor in Georgia. I practice under the clinical supervision of [Supervisor Name, LPC, CPCS].
My path to this work began in elementary education, where I watched up close how struggles at home shape the way children show up in the world — and how much can change when families get the right support at the right time. That early window into the human experience pulled me toward counseling. It also shaped the way I sit with clients today: curious, patient, and attentive to the people and patterns surrounding the person in front of me.
I work with clients navigating marriage and relationship strain, parenting stress, life transitions, identity questions, and the quiet weight of feeling unseen. My approach is warm and collaborative. I want you to leave each session feeling heard, understood, and a little more equipped than when you walked in. I integrate Christian faith into counseling when clients invite it, and I hold space for every client’s story with care, whether or not faith is part of the conversation.
Outside the counseling room, I’m a wife and mom of four. I serve in ministry at my church and love family vacations, afternoons at the park, and game nights at home. My family and my faith are what ground me — and they’re a big part of why I believe so deeply in the work of transformation.
