Learn About Legacy Marriage Resources

Our Mission

Legacy Marriage Resources exists to serve our community by helping couples heal from past pain, develop a clear vision for a healthy relationship, and build a legacy of love that their children can carry forward with pride.

We provide counseling, coaching, and relationship resources designed to foster accountability, restoration, and meaningful connection—guiding couples toward the loving relationship they have been longing for. Through faith-integrated care, we equip couples with the support and tools needed to transform their marriage into one that is God-honoring and life-changing.

Our Vision

Legacy Marriage Resources envisions being a trusted center where couples come to strengthen their relationship, restore intimacy, and rediscover connection. By thoughtfully integrating marriage counseling and sex therapy, we help couples build the emotional and physical closeness needed for a lasting connection.

While relationships can feel complicated, we believe growth does not have to be. Our goal is to provide clear, practical pathways that help couples redeem their story and grow into a marriage marked by depth, companionship, and resilience—one that positively impacts families, churches, and the broader community.

We believe marriage matters. When marriages are healthy, families thrive—and when families thrive, communities are transformed.

What Makes Us Different

Faith-Integrated Care Without Pressure

We integrate Christian values into therapy, if requested, while honoring each couple’s comfort level. Faith is invited into the process, not forced, and always paired with sound clinical care.

Healing Beneath the Surface

We go beyond surface-level communication skills to address the deeper wounds that drive conflict, distance, and disconnection—creating real, lasting change.

Intimacy Is Part of the Work

Emotional and physical intimacy matter. By integrating marriage counseling and sex therapy, we help couples rebuild closeness in a way that feels safe, respectful, and meaningful.

Clear Direction, Not Guesswork

Couples often feel overwhelmed and unsure where to start. We provide practical tools, structure, and guidance so you know what to work on and how to move forward together.

Legacy-Focused Counseling

Your marriage shapes more than just the present moment. We help couples build a relationship that positively impacts their family, children, and community for generations.

Shenikka Jackson

Shenikka Jackson, LPC Intern

Hello! My name is Shenikka Jackson, and I am currently a Mental Health Counseling Intern. I love to meet new people, learn about them, and listen to their stories. My passion comes from a deep desire to help others navigate through tough situations and see someone’s life be transformed in a positive way. I believe God has given me the grace to help others grow.

My undergrad is in elementary education. With this background, I have witnessed the impact struggles can have on children and their families. Observing those around me inspired me to explore the human mind, develop empathy, and gain the skills necessary to support others. I am a big advocate for change. I believe we can all change things that we are not happy with the help of God and others. I seek to help people feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow. This practicum marks an important step in my journey to become a compassionate and effective mental health counselor.

On the weekends, I enjoy ministering at my church and witnessing to others about Jesus outside of church. I also love to spend time vacationing, going to the park, or simply hanging around the house playing games with my husband and 4 children. My family is my motivation and reason. I am passionate about Jesus, transformation, and my family.
